As a food enthusiast and culinary optimist, A Full Spoon Of began as a food blog project I started years ago. From blogging food recipes to creating elaborate cake projects on the side, my passion for baking stemmed from my mother, who, growing up, I observed silently as she dedicated long hours to decorative desserts and cakes. My mother’s infused passion for baking was evident throughout my childhood as she created multi-tiered cakes dressed in sugar flowers, dainty desserts with delicate flavours, and my favourites----eclairs, croquembouche, and a swirly chocolate and vanilla cookie I had when I was seven that I had not forgotten! 

 

With the encouragement from our friends and loved ones, and local food bloggers in our community, my mum and I began the journey of working side-by-side, together creating and enjoying the process, while also selling our decorative edible art - slowly growing our passion into a business, cookie by cookie.
